How’d you spend your weekend? For a group of TCCS students and their instructor, a portion of their weekend was dedicated to participating in a 24-hour prayer and praise vigil. In concert with a number of other area worship teams and church leaders, the TC Christian ministry team led a designated period of worship and praise known as Harp and Bowl. The Harp and Bowl style of worship, which features musical prayer, derives its name from Revelation 5:8, which describes heavenly creatures which each “had a harp” and “were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints”. So while the worship team played praise music, those assembled prayed in small groups over our community, the region, the nation, and the world. Thanks, team, for giving of your weekend to serve the Lord and bless His people.
