Congratulations, Ethan and Lily

TC Christian Seniors, Ethan Haldaman and Lily VanBrocklin, were recognized as Students of the Month at a formal luncheon presentation at the Traverse City Rotary Club on Tuesday.  Students of the Month are selected on a variety of criteria including academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and community involvement.

At the presentation, Ethan spoke highly of the relationships at TC Christian and the community feel within the building across all grades.  He loves being in an academically rigorous environment that is clearly Christian-based.  In keeping with that mindset, Ethan plans on pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice at Grand Canyon University (AZ), America’s largest Christian university.

Lily echoed Ethan’s remarks and described how much she appreciates that TCCS teachers go the extra mile to truly see each student as an individual, and who care about their whole well-being – academically, behaviorally, and spiritually.  Following graduation, Lily will attend Cedarville University (OH) where she will major in Theater.

Both Ethan and Lily also praised the extremely formative experiences their class Mission Trip provided for them, along with the various opportunities they were involved with during their years at TCCS: Student Council; Musicals and Plays; Worship Team; Athletics; and the various community service activities in which they participated.
