Traverse City Christian graduates glorify God and feel His pleasure when they live life ‘On Purpose’. (Ephesians 2:10)

At our school, we help parents create, shape and mold their children into young men and women who are faithful disciples of Jesus Christ and who understand what it means to filter everything they do through God’s Word.  These young men and women are well-educated and know their purpose in life.  They are strong and courageous, have an excellent work ethic, can lead and think for themselves, and make great husbands, wives, and parents.

Biblical Worldview

At TC Christian we value seeing life through the lens of scriptural truth and living accordingly. We acknowledge the sovereignty of God over every aspect of creation, seeking to proclaim God’s truth by how we live, learn, and teach. We address the fallen nature of humanity and the brokenness of creation by directly addressing their effects on life as God intended it to be. We do not avoid difficult issues; we teach biblical discernment.

Authentic Biblical Community

TC Christian is a faith-infused community. Our faith is passionate and the Spirit is alive among us. We lovingly hold each other accountable to the core values stated here. We demonstrate unwavering support to our fellow community members in upholding these same values.

Whole-Child Emphasis

We value each child as a unique workmanship of God himself. We value the wholeness of each child’s character, academic progress, effort, physical abilities and artistic expression.

Academic Excellence

We provide an environment that helps each child develop their intellectual potential.  Whether an average student or high ability/gifted, we offer learning opportunities that are sound, time-tested, and commensurate with, and that can stretch, our  students’ abilities.  We seek the maximum development of intellectual capacities and skills in order to succeed in life.  As a result, TC Christian’s test scores across all grades are consistently in the top percentile at both the regional and state level.

At TCCS we value expressions of biblical compassion toward everyone. We passionately desire to learn and grow as disciples who seek to be like Jesus. We seek to develop servant leadership in every member of our community, and live to glorify and honor the creator.
