Girls Make Bowling History, Too!

What a weekend! Last Friday, the Lady Sabres made school history by placing 3rd overall in the State after an incredible day of play. That’s the best placement by our Girls’ Bowling team ever and was accomplished despite illness and injury. Way to go, ladies!.
Following that exhausting effort, two members of the team, Hannah Elenbaas and Ella Wendell, were back at it on Saturday morning playing for the State Girls’ Singles title. After a valiant effort, their season came to an end, but Hannah and Ella can take pride in knowing it was just the second time we’ve had female players advance that far in a State Singles tournament. Well done, Hannah and Ella.
