TC Christian’s 7th grade science class were recently on Fuel-FM to discuss how they planned to honor God by being faithful CREATION KEEPERS and care for His Creation in a very specific way.
It all started when, as a wrap up to their ecosystem unit, they began to explore the local ecosystem more closely. They learned what a delicate balance it is and how a change in one level can affect the entire ecosystem. They discovered that an issue affecting our local ecosystem is the pollinator crisis, and they decided to do something about it. After completing some research, students found several things that could make a difference and they went to work. One group began to build a bee house and a bee bath, one group learned about bee-friendly plants and planted a pollinator garden, and a third group got to work finding ways they could educate others. They made posters, taught students through our very own SABRE NEWS, all of which resulted in their appearance on Fuel FM. Some pictures of their activities are here.
